On today’s episode of Locked on Wild, we start by addressing the news that Jets Center Cole Perfetti was mic’d up against the Wild on Sunday and led to the revelation that Hartman high sticked him on purpose as retribution for Brendon Dillon checking Kirill Kaprizov from behind and knocking him out of Saturday’s game. We look at how the Department of Player Safety has created a system of retaliation due to their soft punishments and general lack of enforcement when it comes to heavy hits and crosschecks the NHL claims they are trying to get out of the game. We move to news that Jesper Wallstedt is getting close to a return to Iowa’s lineup, and discuss the possibility that he is called up next week. We finish by looking at tonight’s opponent the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the remnants that remain from the multi Cup Final appearances they made over the last few years. We forego Keys to the Game and instead opt for wanting to see more of what make Nic Petan and Jake Lucchini tick, as well as a healthy dose of Marc-Andre Fleury saves.

I am in 100% agreement with you on NHL Department of Player Safety and the referees.
The Wall is the Wild’s best option… JW…come on down.
That fight was stupid . We still have krill for the second year being taken out of the game by the jets . I agree with a comment from a person that suggested that krill being a Russian and not a Canadian could be the reason nothing done concerning krill being injured . Actually I read from
another comment that krill is a “soft “ Russian communist .
Nope, leave Jesper in Iowa. There is nothing up here to save! This team is headed forc10 or 11 straight losses. $50.3 million in salary off the ice. The Iowa guys are ALL BUSTS! Sliw-Bogosian-Kenobe, GOAL-O-COUGH-SKY, STUMP Merrill leave nothing to bring Jesper up here to save!
I'd leave Yesper Volschted in Iowa until 2024, but that's just me. The last thing 21 year old Yesper needs is to come up to a depleted NHL Wild club and get lit up for 8 or 9 goals in his debut with a bunch of slappies playing in front of him.
I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but unfortunately right now in the NHL it has to start with the players and coaches. The Department of Player Safety is a complete joke. I've liked some of Hartman's feistiness in the past, but I'm done with him after that stick to the face. Dirty play…. dirty player. Btw, leave JW in the AHL.
