Because he’s a clever offensive player who has a steady defensive side to him you’ve turned him into a fourth line grinder you’ve asked him to do that job one that he is uncomfortable doing clearly he’s terrible in the faceoff dot so what you’re doing is having beer take

The faceoffs and then they switch defensively it’s not a good system at all you’ve taken a square peg shoved it in around hole and said you better be good or I’m benching you and then you bench him because he’s not confident in the role he’s playing because that’s not

The role he’s supposed to be playing if you were going to call him up and just put him on the fourth line why’d you call him up is this better than having a lco Fe your steam line what are you doing did you want to appease the fan

Base who was clamoring for merkulov as a shot in the arm to the offense an offense which granted has been playing better so maybe we didn’t need to do this merkulov thing at all I was begging for merkulov just for a couple games on the third line give them 12 to 14

Minutes with a couple Speedy Wingers let’s see what they can create and they can be sound defensively but instead you went nope MC you’re taking defensive Zone faceoffs which you suck at you are playing a very very safe game you are not to take chances you are not to push

Up ice you have completely clicked the guy’s nuts and asked him to be great and he can’t he can’t in the role you’ve given him and I hate to act like I know better than an NHL coach because you are the Pinnacle of Hockey coaching I can’t

Hold a candle to the knowledge that you have about this game I can’t do it but what in the flying [ __ ] did you think was going to happen with this line it didn’t look good last game it had moments again had moments where MC pushed it you even gave MK 20 seconds
