Nick Cousins hit Juuso Valimaki awkwardly in the head along the boards. Jason Zucker didn’t care for it much and drilled Cousins from behind into the glass. Zucker got a major penalty, a game misconduct, had to fight after being jumped, and got a three game suspsension. Nick Cousins got nothing (other than of course being hit like that). Did the officials and the DOPS get it right?

Regardless of the situation, you can't do that. I think 5 and a game plus the 3 game suspension is a suitable punishment.

People really need to stop trying to make cousing the bad guy he went to play the puck and when he couldnt get to it plus saw the player he try to stop hell he jump to avoid hitting him hard since he notice his head was level with his elbow

Cousins elbowed guy in head. Just drop gloves after but Cousins is too greasy for that.
A 3 game suspension is too lenient as it's clear that the only possible purpose of that hit from behind is retaliation. It has nothing to do with hockey.
I'm ok with a 3 game suspension here, since he has no history, but I think 5 or 6 would have been more fitting
Cousins is such a POS. Makes dirty plays all the time, then just flops and lays on the ground to embellish when he gets hit. Or just turtles up like after he hit Gudbranson. What a coward of a player and a disgrace to the game of hockey.

He dropped like he a fly – did he miss any time during the game or have a concussion? – nhl players have to stop acting like soccer players
Cousins hit was across the line, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth anything more than two minutes. That Zucker hit was one of the most predatory hits I’ve seen though, if you don’t like something just drop the gloves. No need to do that.

The way Cousins launches himself up into the head is so bad. No attempt to soften it. Cousins doesn't seem to think there will be any retaliation. Cousins is fine with these dirty hits because the NHL never seems to do anything about it.
