  1. Vegas blew it , they had that series , game 6 shouldve couldve been theirs for the taking . They had game 7 about wrapped up . I bet Eakins name isnt to popular in vegas right now . Bad penalty to give up in do or die game 7.

  2. To salty Vegas fans – if you don't think that was a cross-check, you're an idiot. If you don't think it merited a major, maybe it was on the line and could have gone either way, but it WAS late and, frankly, Gallant used up his benefit of the doubt when he constantly lobbied from the bench saying that clear penalties weren't (even after the play). The Sharks kept getting injured by Vegas play and Gallant kept hurling accusations of diving (for example, Couture was called a diver by Gallant for the high stick that should have been a major except that Couture was off to the trainers room). He also insisted that the goalie interference call was right (and smugly at that) when the entire world could see that it wasn't. He burned up his credibility when it comes to rules and his team's ability to play cleanly, and you don't get the close calls when that happens.

  3. Great edit. The ComcastBA call of the game was off the hook. Greatest game in Sharks history.

  4. As a Blackhawks fan, Vegas fans can complain but you can’t just let up 4 goals like that. Also, you were up 3-1 and had 3 chances to close them out and didn’t. Vegas was the least deserving to move on. I’ll be cheering for the sharks the rest of the way, and I cheered for them all of this series

  5. I’ve been a fan of Sharks and hockey in general since 1999 and I have not witnessed anything or even close to what I saw last night. To be there in person was almost a gift from the hockey Gods. Tough luck for the Knights and their fans but it was poetic justice that the Sharks won. It’s a game for the ages and a story to tell my kids in the future. I still feel goosebumps and the feeling hasn’t sunken in yet. What a game and what a series.

  6. This is second to my favourite awesome hockey moments I’ve witnessed. First one was being 14 years old and witnessing Subban Destroying Marchand 8 years ago

  7. This was awesome but still, fix your 5 minute major rule where they are not out on a goal.

  8. If eakin doesn't lose his mind and get the five minute major then the sharks get eliminated. It's safe to say Cody eakin will be looking for a new team next year cause he will be hated in Vegas for costing them this game. On a side note the sharks goalie isn't that good and the avalanche will beat them like the Calgary flames.

  9. Gerrard and his goons say it was a bad call. I say Vegas choked being up 3 games to 1 and letting the series slip through their gloves.

  10. I had no energy left after watching this game. I'm still at a loss of words. This comeback doesn't feel real. I'm used to seeing the Sharks lose these type of games but not this time. Good luck against the Avalanche. Go Sharks!!!

  11. Still get all the feels with those chills when i watch this… unreal. I remember watching Pav's on the ice and once the penalty was called, you just knew something special was about to happen by looking at the shark's faces.

  12. The ultimate in will and skill and pure determination. If we'd seen any more complete refusal to back down, we'd be in a Rocky movie. (The absolutely DELIRIOUS call from Hahn: "They've! Done it! They've come! ALL THE WAY BACK!" – if this wasn't the first round, it should go down in history right next to "Do you believe in miracles?!" and "The Giants win the pennant!")

  13. In my opinion Vegas should have shut up, stop complaining and kill the penalty. They should not have let in 4 power play goals in 4 minutes

    — from a sharks fan

  14. Sure the call was questionable, but letting up 4 goals in 4 minutes and 1 second?! Jesus Christ Vegas….

  15. I remember watching this. It was such an unreal moment to see live it felt like witnessing history.

  16. I'm not a fan of either team as much as I am a fan of the heart shown by them sharks. They rallied hard for themselves and for Joe that night. Call the major what you want, you concuss a player with anything but a textbook hit, it shall be a major. The cross-check to the upper body culminated in the head injury that followed. The raging flurry of goals that entailed were beyond crazy. That's heart and I'm a fan of that

  17. What I would do to relive this moment, Such energy & excitement. I hope the sharks can turn around and be a playoff team again soon!
