Need to move Chabot and Norris – both too expensive, both low compete level. Tarasenko and Branny moved at the deadline. Let Kubalik and Smejkal walk. Pinto is worth another year to see – he's not ruined b/c he's young. The biggest coaching challenge is figuring out how to get Stutzle and Brady to score 20 less pts a season each, to get the team 20 more pts. Maybe they're both not as good as we all think if they can't score without cheating the zone. Sandy, Giroux, Joseph, Greig, Zub, Chychrun, Batherson.. all back for another year. They can play. The rest need to go. Team needs some role players, bottom six have to be PKers. Every line needs someone who can go and get the puck and cause some chaos and turnovers – this team is so easy to play against. I don't mean goons – just men who want the puck and will go the net and score ugly goals, block shots, and who want to win.

This team will be fine. They need to learn to really hate losing. Call up a goalie. Place Forsberg on waivers and move Branny to give him a shot elsewhere.
If stutzle and Tkachuk are hurt they need to sit out some games. Not like this team is going anywhere.

They Want to keep players on the perimeter on the defensive and play on the perimeter on offensive 🙄
When they sent the puck back the defense gotta shoot the puck quicker and at least one player go to the front of the net . You can have talented players but it's the coaching that gel the team. Take the body on puck carriers not just the puck on the defensive side when necessary !??
With a full healthy team the Sens have good Top 9 minus Kubalik 😂

So Dorion pays a lot for DeBrincat which screws with team chemistry and when that blows up in order to move him he takes on a Detroit salary dump named Kubalik and now there's talk about adding a sweetener to move Kubalik to make room for Pinto. ROFLMAO A lot of fans are really dumb but who pays sports talking heads to cheer for and support this lunacy.
Martin needs to restore the team chemistry that was lost when Dorion brought in flashy guys like the 9 million dollar midget, Chychrun and Tarasenko instead of the solid bottom 6 guys, the good RD and the solid goalie they needed, squandering all their picks and cap space in the process. How many of you disgruntled fans cheered wildly for the 9 million dollar midget acquisition and the other ones as well.
So going to hard working, high producing, core players and telling them you're bringing in a 9 million dollar midget to replace them and they're now third liners wasn't stupid enough for a lot of the sports talking heads to support so now they want to get rid of one or more these core guys completely. Who pays you guys for this unhinged lunacy?
Before that they went to hard working, really good depth players like Paul and Brown and told them to get lost but that wasn't stupid enough. Now the sports talking heads are talking about going after the core and telling them to get lost. I really hope Andlauer, Staios and Poulin can resist the stupidity.
Martin in his post game spoke about using ice time as a tool to send a message to these players about competing more consistently and he needs to do that now. Martin hasn't had a lot of time to change the bad habits that were formed under Smith. I remember commenting two years ago that Smith's only strategy for exiting the zone was to have Tkachuk always waiting at the opposing blue line for the stretch pass while Norris and Batherson skated around the neutral zone waiting for the dump out. Stutzle was the only guy coming back to help out the D.
So this is what I've got to say to the disgruntled Ottawa fan base. It's hard to be patient another year but tough. You shouldn't have supported all those stupid Dorion moves.They need consistency in net, a RD that is better than Hamonic, move out guys like Kubalik, Tarasenko, Chychrun and one of the goalies. The first 2 for sure by the deadline. Above all to not F with the core beyond benching a few of them to get their attention. Sit them in the press box if you have to and that means guys like Tkachuk and Stutzle as well. If that means losing games good.
Look for the pieces you need. Don't be creating holes in your core chasing after more 36 year olds. They had an identity two years ago which was to play hard and never quit and we all loved them for it. Dorion destroyed that by making stupid moves to try and save his job. This core know who they are; they just forgot. Martin needs to remind them.
