  1. six shots on goal in the 1st period? and 10 total shots on goal thru the first 32 minutes of the game? the Graves/EK pairing is bad, there is no doubt about it. And against a physical Caps team, sullivan scratches Ludvig to play POJ? Is ruhwedel really the 5th or 6th best D on this team? He is 7th at best, no? Can graves sit a game or 2 to hit reset? they already called Shea up so why not play him?

  2. Brutal start. Caps were awful but still prevailed.

Not sure if it’s the NyQuil in me but this game had points where it looked like I was watching it in slow motion.

Graves needs to sit. 2 goals went in because of him. He also whiffed on a few plays that could have been goals against. Yikes

  3. Graves needs to be demoted to the third pair, but i have no idea who you put alongside Erik Karlsson. Maybe Petterson again? But then who do you put next to Letang? And dont forget, whoever you put there with either of those guys, they'll be playing 25 minutes a game.
    Who is ready for that?

Thats where i struggle. I think you have to bring in another left side D man. Someone that plays like Petterson who can log a lot of ice time and be stout defensively.
