I just thought they were just embarrassing themselves by not playing the way that they could play like. It's pretty embarrassing and sad that matthews domi and 19 That scored for us Tavares's nowhere to be found. Mitch marner was nowhere to be found nylander was nowhere to be found

Out of watch this core 4, I think this is the worse game that they played and the whole team in general played like they didn’t want it. There are so many things wrong with this team Johnny and I will explain it to you and you said most of it. Number 1, I don’t want to see Bertuzzi on this team no more. There are games where he’s showing effort and there are games where he’s on the score sheet and he’s been good but today with chances at the net and giving the puck up and just seeing his facial expressions every time he hits the ice is something that I don’t like. I understand there is pressure here in this hockey market and fans will get on you for it but what can you do to get out of that slump and get going and be the Bertuzzi we know you can be. I think Keefe is getting sick of him and that’s what he keeps getting demoted down to the fourth line because he’s not that good as we all thought he’d be. If he doesn’t step up and he continues to play at the pace he is playing at then trade him away because I don’t want someone on the Leafs that doesn’t want to show he wants to be there. Trade him for another forward that can help right away. Number 2, this defence isn’t good enough and over the years this defence hasn’t been good to get to the Stanley Cup. I know last year’s defence was an improvement from previous years but the fact that you sign Klingberg and can’t even bring back a guy like Luke Schenn or someone better then Klingberg just shows that you don’t know what a defence lineup should look like. Now I’m all on the Tanev train and I hope Brad Treliving can do anything in his power to get Tanev and maybe even one more defencemen in Toronto to help us not only this year but in the foreseeable future. But if Keefe thinks that guys like Lagesson or Benoit is enough and if Treliving think this defence is good as it is then not only should he be fired, he shouldn’t be a GM if he think that defence is ok to go out on the ice and every night and play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Number 3, the goalies are just simple god awful. Samsonov can’t save a puck if his life depended on it and Jones has been ok but not great. Once Joseph Will comes back I think management should go out into the market and see what they can get for Samsonov and actually see if there is a legit goalie who can help backup Woll because Samsonov and Jones can’t do it and I’m sick in tired of seeing the poor play from Samsonov. It should happen and if they boys keep playing like this, their ain’t not way we gonna be making the playoffs. They showed no passion and no heart tonight. After the Christmas holidays, something needs to happen
Maple Leaf fanbase has got to be the most hard headed in hockey. Leafs find new ways to disappoint their fans, year in year out. And yet they still come out in droves both in Toronto and other cities to watch them play. They remind me a lot of Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers fans, the score can be 70-0 with two or three minutes left in a game, but still jump up and down if their team scores a garbage goal or TD, wearing their stupid cheeseheads and waving those ugly terrible yellow tampons or those blue jerseys 🤦🏻♂️ There was this fat woman and I guess her daughter tonight in Buffalo,right behind one of the nets in the end zones, both Leaf homies , they stuck it to the end 🤦🏻♂️ Talk about dense 🤦🏻♂️

Exactly this team is not going anywhere, the whole team including coaching needs to changed.
They will make playoffs but thats it. Makes no sense trading assets for a band aid effect. They need to recoupe ,reorganize, replace and maybe only then will we see re-wards.😢

The team played terrible in front of him as well. I don't ha g the entire game on the goalie. Also looked liked they quit. That's coaching too. Move have to be made but so many teams are having the same problems.
This leafs team is not ready to contend. They have to fire keefe and bring in a new voice behind the bench.

Love you John, but idk a game like this was due. I'm not even mad at this point. I don't love Keefe but it made 100% sense to put Sammy in, we got 2 goalies for a reason. This was a game where he could get his confidence back against a very bad Buffalo team. He was horrible 100%, but the reasoning to put him in made sense. Don't think Sammy will be starting another game going forward, needs to re-group and get confidence back in the AHL. The game sucked, boys gave up after the first 2-3 softies went in. Tough loss but i've seen much worse, the David Ayres game is still the worst LOL
