Happy to win, but we have to scrape so hard to win games versus these bottomfeeders, so annoying. Literally getting spotted goals by the refs while we’re down two D, awful.
I just genuinely can’t believe we brought it back. It was looking like all was lost in the 2nd period. shoutouts to HAANER FOR HIS FIRST GOAL AS A BOLT!!
So it’s obvious that this team *can* show up, they just need fire in their bellies. We can’t have Hagel starting fights and the refs making atrocious calls every night to find that energy. If they can find another way to harness it though, this could get fun

So glad we won. After that 2nd goal, the Bolts would have been the laughing stock of the league if we lost. Ironically, I don’t think we win if that goal didn’t happen.
Also, are the refs compelled to yell, “Hey idiots, we’re still playing!”?
Despite that embarrassing recent losses, December has been the Bolts’ best month this season. The first month with a winning record, 14 games, 8-6-0. Let’s use that to keep improving next year.

If there’s a lesson to be learned from this game I think it’s that we’re better when the defense gets involved in the play.
