You should mention that his father Cristobal Huet was from France and played for the French National Team, not for Switzerland like his son does. He was the French national team top goalie for more than a decade.

I was thinking the entire game “jeez this huet kid really likes the look of old Cristobal Huet”

Does he mention being down 5-0 and winning?

  4. Erratum: That model is the 2005-2006 Premier and not the 2007. I went by memory and I was one year off. Sorry about that!

holy hell- after the Canes won the cup in ’06- my brother and I got really into hockey.

He ended up buying Huet pads the next year to play roller hockey and let me play with them as well- that carried us through then up until last year.

In rotation we had those- and then some generic stand-up style pads with our gear.

What a crazy different level of equipment goalies have now

Did we win a cup with Huet? Or was he around when Khabibulen was?

Either way I feel old as fuck
