I like this trade, from an avs fan prospective
I think this trade is good for Burakovsky. A change of scenery will be good for him. I would say the Avs have the slight edge in winning this trade because Burakovsky has played more in the nhl than Kosmachuk but a good deal for both teams.
As a die hard avs fan and a swede I LOVE this trade
I’m a caps fan and I think it’s a good trade for us Andre was sort of caped out as a 30-35 point guy and had a pretty bad year in my opinion. I also think the caps could have gotten a better player than Scott kasmachuk. Like a young 4th line forward that can grow into what Andre is
Soderberg and a 2nd out, Burakovsky in.
Idk if that’s good asset management. It’s a gamble on a player who has never gotten 20 goals.
Edit: and KC, although they already have Makar and Byram coming so it’s whatever.

I think it could be a low risk high reward for Colorado. Plus Washington gets that contract off. Cause right now, burakovsky wont get paid more than 3 mill annually. Cause of his recent performance. BUT, Colorado can get him on a steal of a contract if he performs better than what he did in Washington. Say he turns into a 40-50 point man on a 1.75 mill annual contract for a few yrs. That would be a great contract for them. Burakovsky is getting a fresh start.
Heavy price for a 3rd liner. But Avs need depth on the offense, so we will see!
