Senators Rebuild is Officially OVER

Hey hockey fans!! In this video we discuss the Ottawa Senators and how the 2020 NHL Draft is the OFFICIAL end of their rebuild. With two draft picks in the top five the sens have a great chance to take two amazing players that can officially end the sens rebuild. Expect the fans to not be selling off as much moving forward and start looking at becoming contenders moving forward.

  1. I agree with you that we have hit the turning point of the rebuild, but I don't think the rebuild is over yet, think we will still be looking at a top ten pick this coming season as we wait for all the kids to put it together, also wouldn't be surprised if we deal some prospects at some point for one or two quality players in their mid 20's, as with all the picks we have in the next two season we will not have room/contract spots for all of them plus the ones already in the pool

  2. My dream is for Ottawa to acquire all of Stutzle, Drysdale,Quinn and Puliarvi at the draft. We have the picks to possibly make that happen. Also a couple key young players you missed are Rudy Balcers and Shane Pinto. Rudy may surprise us with his all around feisty play style. GO SENS GO!!!

  3. you forgot Bernard-Docker on defence! we should focus on forwards for our third and fifth pick

  4. If it's Stutzle then I can see a Rossi pick up at 5 and if its Byfield it should be a Holtz or Raymond pick, I feel the 3 pick will define what they do with their next pick to offset the strengths of the number 3. Drysdale is most likely going to Detroit because of their need for a OFD so I doubt he will be available at 5 and regardless I feel Sanderson fits the Senators needs at D more.

  5. The rebuild is over if they want a bubble/no man’s land team. The Sens need to both draft a 1C and a 1RHD this year. I could easily see LA drafting Byfield and Detroit drafting Drysdale and that could be disaster for Ottawa. And after that, they still need to tank the next two years to round out the team. A lot of their best prospects are not sure fire.
