The San Jose Sharks Special Teams cost them as they lost 7-4 to the Vancouver Canucks. Start with how the second power play unit gave away two goals to the Canucks and if the power play could have cashed in the Sharks probably would have won the game. Then discuss Mario Ferraro’s three point night and if a Mackenzie Blackwood “steal a game” performance is right around the corner. Then analyze the numbers behind the game and how the Sharks continue to get quality over quantity and if Tomas Hertl, William Eklund, and Filip Zadina could repeat their performance from Thursday night. Finally, answer some questions including what has lead to the inconsistency in the Sharks this year and which San Jose Barracuda players have impressed the most?

I was there!!😀😀
To survive this dismal season, Sharks pundits are going to have to use comedy techniques to get through the pain of losing badly almost every night. I am not saying the Sharks are a joke this season, but that we must joke about their dismal situation and life at the bottom of league standings. Vancouver is at the top and a model for a Stanley Cup contender: a star goalie, a deep group of scoring star forwards and role players who complement them, star defense in Quinn Hughes and depth in d, with a head coach who desperately wants to win and knows the game inside out. Sharks are a discombobulated team of misfits who show some spotty competitiveness, and without depth at all. Sharks cannot manage injuries to key players, so long term or chronic injuries keep them at bottom. Jacob MacDonald is the biggest surprise this season, and he is playing for NHL minimum salary ($762, 500 according to capfriendly) and outperforming many other Sharks. I hope that Mike Grier signs him and helps MacDonald develop more and stay rather than trade him for low draft pick.
Sharks need the #1 pick and bad contracts to drop off their books. Its time for the scouts to shine.
