What would the leafs do with Lindholm without trading Nylander? Trade Nylander Liljegren + for Tanev, Lindholm and Hanifin.
I have to agree with you gentlemen but on the other end, Calgary would lose this trade as a team wanting younger and NHL READY players. Toronto does not provide any of that. Toronto wants quality players but doesn’t want to pay the price for them.

My trade would be Nylander, samsonov, 3rd rd pick to Anaheim for Zegras, Gibson 50% retained, 1st rd pick
Brodie and Jarnkrok aren't waiving to a non-playoff team that is on a major down swing .Specially Jarnkrok who has 3 more yrs on his contract. Willie is testing the UFA market and the leafs won't be re-signing him for what he wants.
Leafs are not giving up 1st rd picks and top prospects for rentals full stop.

Don't know where you get that info unless it came from Calgary lol. Tanev is worth a 2nd and Lindholm a 1st. The rest is just laughable. These are rentals. If you're looking at contracted players at decent prices, you could add more but this proposal is from someone who doesn't know hockey or doesn't think much of Toronto. Glad you two didn't fall for it.
Brodie should retire if he is traded. He is 33 years old, and his wife has MS. I think family is very important to him.

Merry Christmas Mark and KC I can't wait to watch Canada and see what Easton Cowan and Fraser Minten bring to the team. After the freeze is up I think we will be seeing a huge leafs trade in my mind but I honestly believe Lagesson and Benoit have earned a full time spot on our team. Another thing we haven't mentioned is in the same year as JT and Mitch as free agents you can add Matthew knies so with that saying no more rental players to give up all our picks. Boyz if am being honest that sounds like a Dubas Trade lol.
