At what point does Eichel pulls an Andrew Luck, takes his $32 million in career earnings, gives Adams the finger and just retires?

No way am I trading Nils Lindkquist… the kid won SHL awards and is a phenomenal player. No way am I trading Braden Schneider. He is tough hard nose Defenseman someone We need . A punishing defenseman great in the D zone and offensive zone. Give them Zach Jones and Robertson but no to Nils Lundkquist and Braden Schneider. This is ridiculous. Kevin Adams has to face facts- Eichel has a serious injury. Show the medical records first. Even with the medical records, no to Eichel.
Buffalo should said yes 2 first around picks Boldy and Rask or Sturm! Buffalo going to be lucky to get 2 first back after next Friday.

Like the Nucks getting Garland. If OEL can return to his early years form, it could be a fantastic addition. But it's no guarantee he can reclaim that previous form. That is going to make all the difference in whether this trade was a bust for the Nucks or not. I get why the Yotes did it. After this season they will have a ton of cap space.

If the Habs end up including Suzuki and/or Caufield in an Eichel trade, it will be one of the worst moves that organization has ever made. I seriously don't even think they need him, nor his huge cap hit, nor his possible chronic neck injury. That goes for the Rangers as well. I don't see why either team would want Eichel right now. He's the very last player I want on my Rangers. He's not at all the kind of player we need. And frankly, I don't want to give up any of our prospects for him. Not Jones, nor Chytil, nor Schneider, Kravtsov, Miller, Kakko or even Othmann realistically. If they want to give us Eichel for like Robertson, Korcvac and Strome and eat like 3 mil a year on his cap hit, then I would consider it. I am dead serious. That's about all I would give up for Eichel.
At this point is it a complete fire sale for Columbus? They haven’t even been bad for that long compared to the leafs and oilers but yet they don’t get any massive changes. They are overhauling
very interested in who the hawks are going after next… is it another trade, adding someone? or will the hawks move someone else from the roster, i.e. strome, zadorov, dehaan? are the hawks going after any free agents?

i could see chicago being wiling or interested in taking lehner or fleury's contract off of vegas' hands.
i think buffalo will have to take back a bad to not so good contract if they expect to get anywhere close to their asking price for eichel.
I think if Eichel was perfectly healthy a deal would be done by now. He’s going to the rangers. It just makes sense. For the player and the team.
Oh no! Sabres distracted will be at or near the bottom of the NHL where as a focused Sabres will be at or near the bottom of the NHL. As I've explained before Eichel has zero leverage – he has a five year contract and the Sabres are not within 5 miles of the cap, Sabres are already a joke around the league.

Sabres would be wise not to give Eichel away for less than he's worth. A deal doesnt have to get done until proper compensation is offered. The season is almost upon us so there should be no rush at all, his market value won't diminish, it will only go up. It's not in Eichel's best interest to be uncooperative. Sabres are in the drivers seat here.
Here’s the problem, $10m is a lot of money for an injured player. All of the playoff teams are too close to the cap. The rangers may want him but they have zibanejad and fox coming up. I think they like them more because they are on the ice. If Minnesota is the team they are now playing with roughly $70mil over the next few years thanks to the praise/suter buyouts. All the playoff teams can’t afford him because they are too tight to the cap. All the non playoff teams that can afford him he won’t want to go to but maybe? Detroit, New Jersey, Seattle, Columbus, Anaheim and LA are all likely locations. Although New Jersey and LA won’t pay a high price since they are both strong down the middle

Didn’t this happen with Tennessee the player did not want to play there he held out for one year Buffalo Wasted draft pick on him so they could have number one talk with him he ended up with the New York rangers This story with powers sound too familiar

So many rumours but GMs are just stubborn let’s just make these deals happen so I don’t have to keep hearing about it. Like we know the Hymann deals done just put pen to paper already I believe lots of GMs are waiting until free agency
