I hate that you guys state that the Flyers might want to start the game with a fight like that’s…. Stupid…
That’s Flyers hockey. That’s the identity…. Not just the fighting but that this team isn’t fun or easy to play. That’s important and not something this team should abandon.
So sure…. Push that identity. Get in a scrap or two. And play the game as WE dictate it.
Russ. Why are you complaining about Frost not playing and Gardiner being in before it’s even happened? I highly doubt that’s going to happen.
You take the fact that the Flyers like to bring a physical game to the extent that they’re going to dress goons like the 70s to exacerbate that point.

Just a funny thing talking about goalies. Because I was a goalie.
My cousin…who was a really good player and smart on the ice…. Always said…. When a goalie is set and covering pretty much all the net and you don’t have anything to shoot at…
Always shoot at the elbows…. Because when a goalie is set and you release your shot he’s going to open up and move and those elbow spots that were initially closed will open up.
I think that’s true. And I always remembered that when I played against him. Lol
