I was excited about the Martin Jones signing as soon as it happened. He's a veteran Goaltender that can play games and get the job done. He come in as our 3rd stringer, dude played over 40 games for Seattle just last year. Sure he's not the same Goaltender he used to be, but hes probably one of, if not THE BEST 3rd stringer in the league. Treliving is a genius for putting that 100 grand payout clause in his contract just to make sure he wasn't likely to get claimed off waivers. I was pumped up about Domi and Bertuzzi signing here too. Now all we need is a tough top 4 dman or 2, but I'm sure Treliving will get er done. GLG!
I am looking to trade Nylander. What do you think he will play like after he signs. Last time he signed a contract he followed it up with zero effort and a 0.5 ppg season. This is likely his last big money contract. Expect that effort for years.
