Careless at best… oof. Also, maybe don't keep shoving someone into the bench, since that's a douche move, but not deserving of that kind of recklessness by any means. Glad it sounds like he's OK.
I don't believe he was kicking to try to injure, just trying to gain some leverage to avoid getting dumped into the bench, but it's far too dangerous a play – better to end up in the bench than on trial.
Can’t believe this hasn’t gotten more coverage. No way to be sure, but man, it certainly LOOKS intentional. If it was then the suspension should have been much, much longer.
After what happened in the UK, as a hockey player I cant imagine being careless with my skates. It’s on the forefront of my mind now. Frk used to be on a couple teams I follow (he came through the Red Wings system). I am ashamed of him for this behavior.
Beyond bush league, borderline criminal
The thing with the Swiss League though….if you look at someone the wrong way it's a suspension.
– Maximum over the top safety in ice Hockey, but deaths on ski hills are tolerated. And they happen every year. It is ok if the sport is inherently dangerous …like skiing, or climbing a glacier. Hockey too is inherently dangerous

The guy tried to push him into the bench and his legs started flailing to counterbalance himself. Not intentional at all.
Same Idiots that think Petgrave tried to murder Johnson think this was intentional as well, the guy tried to push Frk into the bench, that's why his legs started moving.
Can't believe some here in the comments think that last kick was unintentional. It was clearly aimed at Pilut.
