regular season is not an indication of how well they will do in the playoffs? Time and time again, the playoffs are a bust.
Leafs will never trade Cowen or minten for a soon to be 34yr old tanev in 2days. It will be for a 3rd, 5th & ambruzzese like prospect. If he goes somewhere else it will be for a 2nd, 4th and or a prospect.
With the handful of Marlie players playing well this year… & trading is VERY costly at this time as we see the asking price for players. Give the Baby Leafs a shot up with the Big Boys… and see what comes of there chances… I feel comfy doing this than giving away the very BRIGHT FUTURE…. just my 2 cents…

Blandisi doesn’t have an NHL contract. HE cannot be called up. They’d have to sign him. They have 47 of 50 contracts used. They have three available. They can also try to trade an existing player with an NHL contract in the minors.

A lot of players mad it later in age than others. Production is what counts not the age.
the pairs have been changing up constantly since the injuries. McCabe plays both sides so I would pair him with Reilly as a top unit. Followed by Benoit & Timmins and Lagesson with Lilijegren – Lagesson provides that physicality on the pair. If guys are playing well, let them play until they prove otherwise.
