Could He Be A Solution For The Edmonton Oilers Top 6?
Raphael Lavoie has seen NHL time this year, but it was very limited. That begs the question, as the Oilers search for top six winger help for Draisaitl, why not an internal solution like Lavoie? #EdmontonOilers #Oilers #NHL
Connor brown is a bit of a plugg. Least favorite oiler on roster. Dylan Holloway younger better, room for improvement. Brown your done budz, trade for Ethan š»
Iād say put brown on a conditioning stint in Bakersfield, but Iād be worried about waivers. I just think he could benefit from getting a couple easier games in, maybe get that scoring touch again. See how Lavoie performs in the top 6.
The forwards arent't really the problem it's the goal tending. You bring in Kessel thers's a good chance he'll be a dud as well and could take months for him to be an impact.
They definitely should give Lavoie a better chance to prove himself on the Oilers this season. 1) His numbers in BAK have been decent last season and this. 2) He's not much of a fighter, but will stick up for his teammates. He's big and he hits. 3) This is the last season that he's waiver-eligible, so if he doesn't produce, you can still send him down to work on things. Next season, he could be gone if he doesn't make the big team. 4) He's been working on PK down in BAK. 5) He can't produce less than Brown.
Plz stop encouraging fans to want more minor leaguers. Or old guys like Phil Kessel. Geez we need a legit #1 goalie. Bad!! Look at how many minor leaguers are on the team now. You really think surrounding Connor with minor leaguers is going to keep him in Edmonton?? And waiting so long to get a #1 goalie is making it harder because of recent injuries to several goalies. Now thereās several teams in the goalie market & that just drives up the price for a good one. If they donāt make a move for a real goalie expect Connor to go back into slow mode. Then expect him to demand a trade this summer.

Send brown to the minors and see if he can score down there and get some offensive confidence.
The fact that brown is still on the team shows you how serious the Oilers organization is about winning
Oilers they wont see the playoffs not with out a goalie
Bless you
exactly
26 games no goals
Waste of time listening to inexperienced kiddies totally missing the obviousā¦talk to me in 4ļøā£0ļøā£years, when youāve been to a few rodeos
