  1. IMO Brady shouldn’t get more than 6.5 million as of right now… matty has 7 million aav and has been a way better player so far

  2. I think Pettersson is signed just that Hughes hasn’t signed yet so they’ll just sign both then announce it

  3. Marner or Nylander for Brady Tkachuk? Do you do it if you’re either team? I honestly don’t think Leafs need both Marner and Nylander. Meanwhile Brady would be absolutely perfect upgrade to Hymen on a line with AM, with either Nylander or Marner at RW opposite Brady. Money should be similar. If not Brady then maybe Nylander for Matt Tkachuk? Lol. And as soon as the bad Tavares contract is up, or they can convince him to waive his NMC, that contract is going to strap them. And frankly, they probably regret that contract and I seriously don’t think Tavares is worth that much. He’s one of the most selfish players in the league with no drive or winning attitude. Leafs just need to make it to end of that contract to be able to take care of younger players extensions. And they have Nick Robertson just about ready and he would theoretically replace whichever of Nylander or Marner ended up in the hypothetical trade. AM would probably be over the moon if he found out one of the Tkachuk bros was coming to play on his line. Maybe he would even opt out of signing with the Rangers in a few years when his contract ends and he would extend with the Leafs. Pretty sure he’s either going to end up a Ranger or stay with Leafs. A lot will depend on whether the Rangers extend Zibby, for how much and how long. Personally, if I’m the Rangers and Zibby won’t sign just a 2 year extension, even at 9.5 mil per, to align and end the same year AM’s contract is up, I’d just let Zibby walk after this season and extend Strome the two years instead. But Absolutely no chance AM ends up home with the Coyotes like some folks are so sure will happen. He’d have to be stupid and out of his mind to even consider choosing to go to the Coyotes.

  4. Benning better get it done. We should've got rid of him last season. Pette and Huges please just sign already and quit giving us anxiety. GO CANUCKS

  5. NHL should make this more interesting. If a RFA is not signed by opening day, they are illegible to play for any nhl team for the season and their rfa status is pushed back by a year..
I'll sit here and enjoy the fireworks.

  6. Apparently Tkachuk deal will be announced on Monday. That’s what a lot of people online started saying yesterday. From “top secret” sources. I fuckin hope so!

  7. I said it once ill say it again… if brady dont take a 8×8, or if kaprill dont take a 8×9 contract then let their asses walk !! Neithers worth no mathews mcdavid money and probly never will !!

  8. 10:41 Dude, the truth is "Vancouver fans" on social media are a small group of loudmouths who like to squeak so people pay attention to them. They are by and large, idiots. Do not think that just because some small group makes a lot of noise, that it represents the majority of Canuck fans. "Social media" is a cesspool.

  9. As a flames fan after matty’s comments I fear he’ll try to go for the big money so maybe if he has a bad year we trade him lol so he can’t railroad us lol

  10. The new tongue twister may be Red Wings prospect Kirill Tyutyayev
The kid can play and we all may be able to pronounce his name if he keeps playing well.

  11. Deals gonna happen for Petey and Hughes by training camp. If they're already in Van, then they'll push it right to the start date.

  12. Father Keith was true holdout. He had a signed contract and refused to report to the Jets. All three good players, but probably not with their $$$$ or bother.

  13. 1 or 2 seasons and these kids are holding clubs to ransom. Dump them and get awesome vets in that want to play for the love of the sport

  14. Idk I think Chabs is the most important piece. When this team is great in 3-5 years it will be Chabot who's out on the ice for 25+mins a night in the big important games
