  1. If it makes you feel any better, this same thing happened to Petterson recently, resulting in a loss.

  2. It's easy to find missed calls and phantom calls in any game. I also saw Bedard complain to the ref and convinced him to call a borderline hooking call on Miller that should not have been called. If I'm a ref. I'm looking at that and feeling Bedard embarrassed him with the embellishment. That may have played a role in the late non call.

  3. Right before this, the refs let a Blackhawk get away with playing with no helmet so they probably just let this go to keep it even.

  4. Stop complaining about every call that don’t go your way and get usted to men at play Just go wait around until someone gives you the puck you floater

  5. WTF. Seriously. How is that not a tripping penalty. Fan of neither team, but that is just ridiculous. NHL officiating is consistently terrible.

  6. I mean Miller's "hooking" against Bedard wasn't a hook either lmao he cried to the ref for it. Ref wasn't gonna call it till he did that. Looks like another Connor is a big cry baby like McDavid lmao 😂😂😂

  7. Just like his girlfriend he was 😮sweep off his feet by his childhood team. Shame on the ref. One of the three blind mice missed the call.

  8. hot take if for his contract with the blackhawks keep getting worse and worse and bedard is not happy he will be going to another team that has playoffs in their sight even the finals and he will lift it

  9. The referees are totally bias. Connor Bedard was right to be mad. It was totally tripping. I hate these inconsistent officiating. Oh he has not earned fair calls yet! Scumbag refs! You are the referees there are rules you are suppose to call the game by not make it up as you go along depending on who is involved in the play.

  10. Several missed calls on both sides in this game. Yes, Petey should have been called on that one but it was not the only bad non-call.

  11. He’s not going bald loser. You just jealous he accomplished more at 18 more than you in your adult life.

  12. Canucks fan and that was definitely a trip.
I think NHL refs have a hesitancy to make calls in favour of rookie players, but that was a particularly obvious non call so I'm not sure how bad it's been for Bedard this year.
Looking forward to the game in January though, Bedard's sure to be fired up playing in his hometown and both teams will be properly rested playing at a normal NHL start time.

  13. That was probably a trip, but jt miller got called on a weak hook against bedard after he complained about it earlier in the game. So that kinda makes up for it.

  14. Careful Bedard, Sid showed his frustration as an 18 year old, Ken Hitchcock called him a crybaby and it stuck with him his whole career lol

  15. Definitely surprised this wasn't called when I watched it live, even though it was an obvious trip by Petey, but hey I'm not complaining. As a Canucks fan, the refs screw us over more often than not. So to watch other fans be just as furious to the refs as us, I don't blame you. Not our greatest effort even though it's a back to back and we're playing Chicago which we should beat regardless, but rough non call. We'll take the 2 points.

  16. crap arrogant refs, again. Every official on the ice was watching the puck and could see like the rest of us that Bedard was tripped.

  17. To the people who thinks this isn't a penalty because Pettersson played the puck:
We can CLEARLY see that Pettersson didn't even touch the puck, Bedard actually made a ''pass'' after. Get some better glasses please.

I'm not even an Hawks fan and I can recognize that, come on.

  18. Not a penalty. Trained ref for minor league systems.

Supposed offending player removed control of stick before contact resulted in the fall. If anything that is closer to a dive in the books than a trip. Both would go for 2 each, or neither. And the hawks would not want their best shooter in the box in that moment of the game.

  19. Definitely a trip. Not sure it was intentional but that is not required for a tripping penalty to be called.

  20. you say bedard is monotone and then you're no better talking like sing-songy chef john, cringe

  21. Vancouver fan from Vancouver;
First moment I saw this I thought there should have been a penalty. I'll take the non-call but that should have been a penalty

  22. The canucks r getting an easy sched. 14-3 against non playoff teams.
Playing teams on second of back to backs. Getting good fortunes, but I question how good they r, when they've been suspect for the last 3 years.

  23. You're not papi anymore? But still this anoying, montone voice. Just hire some one else to narrate…

  24. Canucks fan here, that was def a trip, but Bedard also complained about Miller touching his stick with his stick and got the call. So who gives a crap. OP should be telling the whole story and not just cherry picking his reviews. "Refs suck when they don't call penalties on my fav players. But are off the hook when they make phantom calls because he whined about it." 🙄

  25. That's totally false as it is the best officiating in the hockey world. Hockey is a game of skill, grace and speed. Yes they miss penalties just like you and I missed too many shots on net growing up or else we would be in the NHL…also I might add the WTF seems to be a standard cliche for those unable to think of anything constructive or perhaps original…it really is low brow…get it?
