Luke Richardson and Kyle Davidson are yet to make any comments about the situation apart from their original quote regarding the situation. Kyle Davidson confirms that the reports involving Connor Bedard are false but not much information came out of it. Luke Richardson discussed the trust he had in Corey Perry to help this team turn it around in the rebuild after coaching him on the Montreal Canadiens.

  1. Wow I cannot believe how this team staff member is so jealous of Connor’s progress that this person stoop to the level of sabotaging Connor’s development as Corey is the only one person that provides mentorship for the young player. Honestly this person successfully get Corey terminated and go and start a rumor about Connor’s mom and Corey. This person clearly want to throw Connor off his game. For that person, “JimthehammerXCII” commenting that it could be Connor’s father starting this rumor is simply bonkers. Why in the world would his father want his son to fail. Your brain is in your head for a reason.

  2. thankfully this finally came out and we can put to rest the ridiculous stories that it had to do with Connor Bedard's mom. so many dumb and clueless people out there.

  3. Incident so you have no idea what it is either. There is no truth revealed. Ridiculous you dont know anything

  4. did chicago really need to terminate him ? sounds like a fine, suspension ,and rehab could have been done instead….i mean the player in ottawa was gambling and he got a suspension

  5. Wasn't it game in Columbus. The facts are being twisted on purpose so we never know. Someone ego got crushed and they overreacted. Now they just avoiding the lawsuit

  6. Perry has been an alcoholic his entire NHL career and now somebody wants to have a problem with it? Honestly it's disgusting that they can cancel his contract if he didn't do something disgusting. There's no way that this GM is very good. He obviously has no idea what a hockey player looks like if he thinks that someone being an alcoholic dipshit means that they can't play hockey.

  7. I kinda wanted this to be the reason why Perry was waived, BUTTTT I also find it hard to believe that this was ALL that it was. How many Christmas parties, golf tournaments etc have there been where employees got shit-faced drunk and not much of anything happens. I understand that Chicago doesnt have the greatest reputation after the Kyle Beech situation, but this seems a little harsh, especially considering hazing and other activities that still happen. If it was an alcohol related event, sure the Hawks could suspend and or fine him, but so WHY did all other 31 teams not make a waiver claim if it was an alcohol related event. Im not condoning anyones bad behaviour while under the influence, however this seems a little "fishy" to me. If it was as stated, why didn't GM Davidson get ahead of the wave and tell this story in the Press Conference on Tuesday? Why hold that and let it get leaked out? The NHLPA is NOT gonna let this slide and Im sure a grievance will be filed. Could you imagine if this was another "Chicago Coverup?" I have a feeling this story is still a LONG way from being over.

  8. I think there was a few small dumb things like him being a dick to people that work with them and shit and they had enough after the game in Columbus something happened apparently . It was right after the game if its true . He coulda just been a prick

  9. First of all, nobody knows anything concrete. With that said, it kinda sucks for Perry because everyone, due to the Hawk's past, immediately started speculating it was sexual misconduct. Hopefully, it wasn't, but you'd think it would have been something bad to fire him. But then again, who knows, it might just be the Hawks eagerness to show they're not the old Hawks.

  11. When i was a kid i used to practice before the leafs they used our home rink as a second location for practice as a low key place now today its a big 4 arena rink called mastercard centre. But if we had camera phones back then we coulda got shitty looks on every player even the nicest guys were assholes sometimes when it came to autographs. We got put before them cause we were among the first they practiced before and we got that out of our system early so we didnt bother them as we got older. We would try sneaking into their dressing room at the old rink and the staff would kick us out they had a dressing room the hole length of the arena on one side. We had 12 dressing rooms to fill that same space on the other side lmao but people would always stay outside the rink and try getting autographs and a lot of players told ya to fuck off literally. People would have a frenzy today back then most laughed it off some were uptight but we didnt have cell phones lol

  12. all you guys commenting on something nobody knows about explains everything to me !!! so fukkking sad….

  13. Nice guilty until proven innocent video. Believe one side only and don't give the other side a chance to respond.😢

  14. It’s obvious it’s more than just abuse of alcohol or drugs because teams have to stand behind the player and introduce him to players substance abuse and they didn’t so obviously it’s something that embarrassed the team.
