They're making progress! at least we didn't get shut out. I expect stinkers like this in road games now, pretty sure that's not a good thing.
What I'm struggling with is.. which team is this? Talk about Jeckel and Hyde performances; is this the team that can outscore anyone and play solid D or are they the team that rolls over in games and just gets steamrolled by good teams? I never know what to expect from a team I love.
unfortunately, LAZY is an accurate descriptor for this team. It's not all the time, but when they get lazy they lose.
The last game against the Jets, I would agree that the Avs 'beat themselves'. This time, though, wow they got just smacked. Jets were better.
While you may be able to fix lazy.. I think it's much harder to fix pride. If this team has as little pride as they're showing, they're done.
