  1. The only downside to David Walsh is that there is only one of him.

Every inch of life in Russia is rotten to the core. Read this. Read Bill Browder, watch the Putin interviews by Oliver Stone and wonder why our Governments in the west are letting us down so badly when it comes to Russia.

  2. Read the book spent a third of book going through a married couples domestic set up i learnt a huge amount about vitaly and yulias relationship and not so much about doping not much of a read

  3. It is an engrossing read thus far, but strange as this couple do not come off as remotely sympathetic, so it is hard to get behind them. The guy crusades against corruption, yet is going around arranging false passports, paying bribes to cops, supporting his doped up wife etc. She is totally cold & her only beef so far seems to be she cannot get the same drugs/treatment as the top women in Russia/that she wasn't at their level, there can surely be no doubt that if the new passport system hadn't uncovered the cheating that she would still be doping now.
