mac is easily a top 5 player in the league just overall skilled and the way he’s able to take over a game
i’d easily have to say makar, the jackets are struggling for that number one defenseman that can create offense and play strong defense
Mackinnon and Makar look like older brother and younger brother
MacKinnon over McDavid and certainly over Matthews. Especially if you want to win in the playoffs. More complete player than both of them if you look at the different elements of the game.
Mackinnon is good but surrounded by talent so he's in a easier environment while mcdavid carries the whole garbage oilers team so to me it's mc david as best lol
McKinnon has the total package. Reminds me of Iginla in is prime but with elite speed on top. Based on what he’s accomplished it would be a tough choice between him and McDavid if you said I could have anyone I wanted for my team.
He's number 1 in my books. His speed, hands, and how he creates time and space out there for him and his teammates is top notch shit.
Nazim Kadri, Ryan Reaves, either of the Tkachuk brothers, Brad Marchand… mostly just someone who’s probably gonna hurt someone on the other team.
Mack is definitely top 3-5, but as you said he's unique. He's definitely elite and nobody can say otherwise and he's just a freight train. Galloping across the ice is a fair description because he does eat up the ice and he does it with power. He isn't afraid to hit someone or stand up for himself throw the gloves down and absolutely ragdoll the other guy which sets him apart from McDavid and Matthews. McDavid is clearly 1, but 2-5 or maybe top 7 is pretty subjective.
Quinn Hughes, not saying he's the best player ever of all time. Just that since he's gotten the C, he's reaching new levels, and I want to see what he can do in the playoffs now, as opposed to 2020 (which he was great in as well).
MacKinnon is the total package!
The thumbnail and title had me expecting he gave that Buffalo dude a dirty hit from behind. Glad it was a nice puff piece for him, Nate is a beast. He's top 5 easily but yeah, tough to choose where he slots in within that group
Without question he's in the top 3 best players in the league. But whether he's 3rd, 2nd or number one, he is hands down my favorite player and I wouldn't trade him for anyone.
Mackinnon is top 5 no doubt. Hard to place though.
He’s up there for sure. He’s won a Cup and he’s averaged well over a point a game in the playoffs. I wouldn’t put him at the level of Sidney Crosby or Jonathan Toews though yet but he’s better than Mcdavid for sure.
I’m a Avs fan all day and I love Mackinnon, but Matthew Tkachuk is on another level. Did you see him in the playoffs man that man is crazyyy.
Austin Mathew’s shouldn’t even be mentioned with McKinnon. Mathew’s goes missing in the playoffs
the glazing rn is crazy
0:37 In 2016-17 he had 53 pts, then 2017-18 he had 97 pts in 8 fewer games??? Then he consistently averages well over a point a game the rest of his career. The only thing that explains this is steroid use. The NHL is an absolute joke with drug testing
His will to win is higher than any top player in the league.
Love MacKinnon aka “Razor”
MacKinnon is great, but may always be considered the second best player to come out of NS behind Crosby.
1. mcdavid
2-5. leon, mckinnon, kuch, makar
6. matthews
McKinnon is my current favourite player in the league (since Rick Nash retired). I watched him play the leafs back in march and he really was the guy you just had to draw your attention to. I would say while his speed isn’t as good as mcdavid’s his hands are better and his shot is close to on par with Matthews
The reason why I put Makar above MacKinnon is simply due to what Makar does on both ends of the ice, but Mackinnon is still in my top 3, behind Makar and Macdavid. all wonderful talents to watch!
The only knock in Nate The Great is his shooting percentage. Everything else about him is top-tier.
Can u talk bout the bruins please, also I think that Charlie coyle is the most underrated talent in the nhl, he doesn’t have the points but every other game he does something special
When it comes to mentality, you would choose Mackinnon. McDavid has the shittiest mentality among the best players in the league. He easily gets frustrated and tries too hard. People look at points for deciding the best player, but in reality it comes down to how many different strong skills each player has. Mackinnon is extremely fast, strong, amazing defense, skilled, and has a tremendous shot. McDavid is only fast and skilled. Mackinnon is the better player.
MacKinnon is a great hockey player. No reason for this video….but you got me with a click, view, and a like, so good job to you. The Kings however, deserve some attention 😉
McD>Mack>Kuch>Drai. I'll put Makar in that conversation if I see him drag teams into the finals consistently like a Pronger used to pull off. I would very much put him in close to a top 5 conversation though
Still blows my mind when people rank Draisaitl over Mackinnon on lists
He's like mcdavid but physical
As an Avs fan, my favorite thing about Nate is that dog in him. I'm biased but I'm taking Nate in the playoffs without blinking
PLEASE
Talk about Huberdeau + Weager, and
Gaudreau, Tkachuk, and Monahan.
I almost feel like Geadreau regrets leaving Calgary, and I'm sure if he stayed, Tkachuk and Monahan would still be here too.
I can say that pretty much every player got impacted severely- Tkachuk had his best season, Huberdeau had his worst season, and Geadreau… They are just all completely different players now, and Tkatchuk has slowed down this year too.
