  1. We need some depth veterans both in forward and defense if we want to do anything in the playoffs they shouldn’t be that expensive (I’m talking 4th liners and bottom pairing guys) can’t have half the team be shaky rookies

  2. The Geek showed some amazing hockey skills that I didn’t know he had.

The refs showed some awful reffing skills that I knew they had

  3. TNT.

I thought I was listening to ESPN with how little they seemed to understand Hockey, but then they spent a good 50-70 minutes talking about how Swayman is as a Goaltender, and how you beat that. They also hyper-focused on one play that the Bruins did where we had 7 players on the ice for about 3 seconds (linechange) “lucky they didn’t get called for that” (Pastrnak had the puck in the neutral zone)

I’m surprised that TNT didn’t mention anything about a Cup Parade when the Devils scored in overtime…great team to watch I won’t lie. Just hate when commentators make the whole team out to be 1 or 2 players (Hughes in that case)

Anyways. GO B’s, sad to hear about Zboril, but hopeful he gets his opportunity. If whatever team he goes to gets the cup. I’m getting his Jersey for that team. I have a Marchessault (81) jersey as well.

  4. I don't have the heart to give my usual notes, I'll give a brief synopsis in a second, but I do wanna just talk first if you all don't mind. For one not much happened to talk about, there was some good and bad I'll get into in a second, but all in all it was low impact hockey. And two, the morning of this game I had to make that heart wrenching decision no pet owner ever wants to make with my cat. So I'll be honest I wasn't fully invested in the game for obvious reasons. Was hoping for that W to have something positive to happen in my day, but sometimes life just wants to really kick ya down, I'm already mostly over the initial grief thankfully, but now what's most important is remembering him and finding healthy ways to cope, which I didn't do today thanks to the existence of adult "soda".

    Now onto the notes.

Offense wise barely anything happened for the B's. They maybe had 5 good chances the entire game, and where they only scored once on one of em. I thought all the lines played fine, the Beecher line struggled a lot this game but they showed up when they needed to. Defense wise it was pretty strong for the B's. Only notable thing was Lohrei having a really strong second half after having a rough first period, other than that the D-men did what they were supposed to, Mitchell had some oopsies, but it wasn't due to him messing up per say and moreso that he just got outplayed at certain points of the game. Sway played lights out like we all expect him to.

This game wasn't anyone's fault, it was a good team effort through and through. It was a close, slow game, and the Devils just had that extra oomf to close it out.

RIP to Simba, my stubborn, needy, glued to my side at every second of the day cat who I loved with every fiber of my being and who reciprocated all my love back to me x1000, I'll miss you forever, my dumbass cat (it's what I affectionately called him nearly 24/7 instead of his actual name due to how stupid he could be at times). Go B's.

  5. I felt sorry for Zboril and how much I criticized him when I saw he was on waivers…but I still have to argue against revisionist history. Yes, he got injured that one season he played 10 games without being terrible, but he was already starting to make mistakes when pressured a few games before he got injured. Plus they were the first 10 games of the season, so teams weren't playing with as much intensity. In general, he was a really good guy & teammate, but couldn't make plays under pressure. And his mistakes in those situations often led to goals for the other team. I hope he gets another chance for a different team

  6. Hahaha, Beecher. Geekie… I was hoping you would start criticizng Grzelcyk so he can have an outstanding next few games.

  7. Marchand has to stop trying to dangle while he’s standing still in overtime. It’s a possession period and he needs to stop giving it away. Refs were terrible, our top forwards can’t score, our fourth line is just there, it’s bad when Geeke is your best forward. Swayman got us a point.

  8. B's would've gotten lit up if it wasn't for Sway. The trend that continues is that this team goes the way of Pasta. He has a good game, they win . . . .

  9. I was patient the entire game until coyle had his stick held then I started to yell. And the OT was brutal.

  10. Geekie finally had a OK game in his career.
The refs will never get better. Only get worse. Shouldn't be a shock to anybody anymore.
First game in 6 against the Devils we lost. Should have waived Zboril a while ago lol. Love the channel and vids man!

  11. I know your not fully confident in lohrei yet but I’d be perfectly fine with trading gryz for some forward help and keeping lorhei up in the show and the longer they keep gryz the lower his stick is falling

  12. Dude. I am swiss and my name is Siegenthaler ( no relation to the hockey player). Your pronunciation is A+.

  13. I really can’t believe how bad debrusk and lindholm have been for us. Debrusk in OT was gliding around. Lindholm made at least 5 bad plays throughout the night. Both of them need to wake up.

  14. The team is desperately in need of a top six forward. We won’t make it out of the first round scoring 1 goal a game. Pastrnak and Marchand account for almost exactly 33% of the team’s entire offensive output. It’s time for a trade.

  15. So bored with the game I broke out the old farming sim 19 😂. Gotta give props to Swayman for some of those big windmill saves in the 3rd. GO B’s!!

  16. Honestly I'm fine with these losses. I do not even want us to be sniffing distance from the President's Trophy.
