Regarding the champion chase. I agree with Johnny, its not so much what a horse wins that makes him a great horse but rather what a horse beats. In Mill House Arkle had a truly great nemesis who helped him to become a truly great horse.
Isn’t it refreshing to hear a punter tell us all about his profit and loss. Usually only hear the ups. They are not machines at betting.

Big fan of the show but Jonny talking nonsense about Sandown being on (suggesting it should have been cancelled). Ground was worse at Clonmel and rain is a fact of life in England. Jockeys are well paid to ride according to the conditions.

Sprinter in his prime beats all of them, probably quite easily. He would have put Moscow Flyers jumping under huge pressure and he was prone to a mistake.

Sorry, silly question, even bigger silly answer. If every Queen Mother Winner ran in one race and i mean every winner, Moscow might just creep into the top 10.
Saying Moscow was better than Sprinter is like saying Kato Star was better than Arkle. It's the same with hurdlers Constitution Hill this Constutution that yet when People mention great hurdlers Istibraq See you then never comes up in the conversation. Saying that, in my opinion, Night Nurse was the greatest and the ratings back that up. Saying that a novice who actually had to give these superstars back in the day weight sadly fell at the last and got killed as i would be hailing Golden Cygnet the greatest horse ever.
Young Brian, base your answers on actual ability and horses throughout history, gave you not heard of Flying Bolt.
