This has gotten pretty awesome

Nhl highlights 2023 – The toronto maple leafs and vancouver canucks won last night, but the brock boeser hat trick and auston matthews goals stole the show, and they are both atop the nhl goal scoring lead for 2023-24. Hopefully you saw the canucks vs lightning highlights and maple leafs vs rangers because both were fun and high-scoring. 1. I'll say Papi wins it but I would be ok with Brock because the guy deserves a redemption arc but F Kuch, him and the rest of the Lightening can go kick rocks, they had their time.

  2. Yeah good call. Just like in Formula 1 I’m a huge fan of Max Verstappen but it’s not as fun when he is the guaranteed champ with 3-4 races left. Was more fun to watch when it came down to the last race between he and Loser Hamilton…I mean Lewis Hamilton. Hope the same goes for this years Rocket Richard Trophy race.

  3. Brock just got another hat trick vs the lightning last night. He is on fire. And has the teammates to make it happen with.

  4. I just hope they stay healthy so we can see what they can do over a whole season. One or the other of them is always getting hurt.

  5. Boeser scores almost every goal from in front of the net on rebounds or passes for tap ins. Dunno if you watch canucks games or not. But 15 or more have been right infront of the net

  6. There's a reason ( BrockStar), Boeser is on top of the goal scorers list. It's not a tie !. If the season ended today Boeser would be the winner….why ?….because he has more points overall !

  7. As a hawks fan, but Vancouver citizen, i absolutely love to see what he is doing this season. Guy absolutely deserves it

  8. Gonna start off by saying I am a leafs fan and I’m not trying to start any fires with this statement, but I think everyone should start to recognize and give matthews some more credit for what he is doing, he has the most goals in the league since 2016-2017, if he plays the same amount of games that ovi has so far in his career (1372) he’ll be on pace to have 865 goals, and if he plays the same amount of games as Gretzky ( 1487 ) he’ll be on pace for 938 goals, I’m fully aware he would have to put up 40 plus goals for the rest of his career, and every leafs fan should feel pretty lucky that matthews is a leaf

  9. Brock – 50 (they really feed it to him near the end of the season to get it)
    Matthews – 59
    Kuch – 46

    Pasta/Panarin/Reinhart – between 40-50

  10. Brocks been my favorite player since his rookie year. Pretty much everyone gave up on him, but I always believed that he would return to being a top goal scorer again. Keep going Brock ! Go Canucks Go !

  11. What’s crazy is he also had a hand injury early in his career, affecting his wrist shot. Now he’s reinvented himself as a net front presence and one-timer guy. He should be in consideration for the Masterton trophy imo.

  12. This is a great watch for all hockey fans, I hope Matthews, Boeser and Kucherov keep up the scoring and none of them lose any time to injuries. Last night was so awesome, to see 34 put two past the Rangers goalie, and then later see Boeser get the hat.

  13. Mathews be like who is this rando that just won't leave me alone in the scoring race.😂

  14. I really hope #6 keeps this up. He needs a year that represents what he should have had in his roomie year. The man was a damn machine until that injury. His story has been tragic ever since and he needs it to turn around for a happy ending.

  15. I can't believe we're halfway through DECEMBER and Boeser's tied with Austin Matthews for the league lead in goals. I don't expect it to last much longer but man I didn't expect it to last much longer a month ago

  16. I'm a Canucks fan through and through, and absolutely love that #6 is performing as well as he is…he deserves it.

And so does Matthews. By the numbers alone he is the most pure goal scorer in NHL history. Of course all of the attention is on #8 Ovechkin, but if Matthews keeps his pace going, the conversation in the 2030s will be whether he can beat Gretzky's (possibly Ovechkin's) all time goals record.
