  1. DK I dont have a contract but I will go to the front of the net if will help the PP, sign me up, go🐧

  2. Jarry has been much better than expected I think you owe him an apology at least so far tbh he’s the only reason why we’re not completely in the dumps this season tbh!!

  3. Tomas Holstrom of red wings fame wasn’t someone who was gifted offensively in the beginning. If I remember correctly he was just a ham & egger 4th liner on those stacked Detroit teams until they discovered he had a knack for taking a beating in front of the net. They’d throw him out as a net front presence on the pp ( surrounded by all stars). He developed into a solid nhl player embracing the role he was given. His stats reflect this

  4. It's not just a quarter season sample size. They missed the playoffs last season by losing to teams that picked first and third overall respectively, they haven't won a playoff series since 2018, and couldn't even beat a bad Canadiens team in the play in round in 2020.

  5. Yes, we are tired of your support for Sullivan & was not impressed with Dubas (in any sense). Seems his lack of urgency may be rubbing off on the team.

  6. We need someone with grit (who can mix it up): a player who can stand in front of the net, draw penalties, a PP specialist. Can it be found in one player or do we need 2 is the question. Either way we need to swing a trade(s). Too many similar players on this squad. Backup goalie, DOC, Rackel, draft picks…we have trade bait. I would certainly sign either Perry or Parise too.

  7. At least we know early on there's no reason to get too excited anything will change. That's good. Won't have to worry about playoffs interfering with my plans. I guess it will be no one's "fault" when they fail to make the playoffs again so that's good. I'm glad Sullivan will be able to go out with the boys on this long extended farewell parade that people buy tickets to see. Crosby only 194 points away from catching Mario and only 60 goals away from catching his idol Sakic. Malkin only 19 goals away from 500, Letang only 73 points away from catching Zubov, and Sullivan only 35 games away from passing Therrien. Gotta play for those those more important milestones now. Cups? They have enough of those. I'm sure Karlsson will totally understand.

  8. After a quarter season of "Mehhh" – buying time doesnt seem like a good place for our Pens. The Metro is wide open for the taking and we finally have good goaltending. We need to get out of this funk with some maybe dramatic and bold steps. What are those?

  9. Cooley? I can't get behind or care much about a person/player who grew up and lived a few miles from my home, during the most successful period of Penguins hockey, and even took part in Penguins hockey camps, but yet spurned them as being a fan of the team and instead picked the Capitals (at the time the Penguins biggest, most dangerous rival) to support, of all the NHL teams he could have chosen. I have much more respect for that clown Umberger. At least he was a Penguins fan as a young player before being drafted and turned to the dark side by the Flyers and Blue Jackets. No excuse for Cooley, and I don't care about how his career turns out other than I hope he gets to play for his dream team the Capitals one day, never wins a cup and never ever puts on a Pens jersey either.

  10. This little nerd isn’t a genius. All that he has done so far is double down on the same path that Hextall had the Pens on.
