If he stays healthy and keeps progressing to his potential, it's a steal. Other than that it's a bust.
You guys not seen Sanderson play I’m guessing?
Canadian teams up there have to be creative…. Let's be honest. Toronto, Winnipeg or Florida, Tampa, Dallas??? I left canada too…too expensive, taxes are crazy up there, covid lockdowns were ridiculous commie shit, weather sucks…. it's no wonder most Canadian players become US citizens and usually stay
sanderson's extension doesn't kick in until next season as he has another year on his entry level
It is very obvious you guys have not watched him at all. Also next year he is still on his entry level deal so he is locked up for the next 9 years.
They’ve never watched him if they let him go 3 more years they’d have to pay him 10+
Why is everyone talking about a defenseman only scoring 4 goals in his rookie season?
You know the best part of his game is defense right? The thing that defenseman are supposed to do
Also you say 42 million in not even one full line, and yet you named 5 players…
The Sens locked Sanderson up for 8 years at 8.05 million because they're almost certain that its low risk high reward, yes he only played 77 games in 1 season. But he like never makes mistakes, and when he gives the puck away, he like always instantly takes it back. He already plays like a veterans. He is a defenseman, not a forward, so i honestly dont even understand why points are in the conversation. Just think about all the money that the Sens organization is saving on Stutzle contract, by signing him last year, before he 90 point season. Thats why they signed Sanderson for 8 year at 8.05 million, after only 77 games.
The other player that you were missing that making around 8 million is Josh Norris
