Quick look at his past injury history shows he's had a a series of hamstring and thigh injuries. He's missed games at least 4 times in the past 4 years with various leg injuries. I am guessing he's got a lingering hamstring issue and he's dealt with them over the course of his career.

Klingberg gets traded to Calgary when they returned from Sweden. It's not a conspiracy theory.
TBD will be whether the Leafs will trade Klingberg or put him on injured reserve. Unless he's traded or put on long-term IR (LTIR), the Leafs won't have much cap space. It'll be even better if the Leafs can save cap space, for what remains of the regular season, by trading him or put him on LTIR.
There has to be something said for a team signing a seriously injured player to $4million/year. There is a bit of a problem either on the side of John's representation, or the Leafs screening process.
Treliving is going to completely ruin Leafs, worst trade , and there have been bad ones, in Leaf history, Klinberg is terrible, if injury was the cause of his terrible then send him on a plane with Keefe

Klingberg and Zadorov make about the same money. Most hockey players have nagging injuries that they can all use to go on LTIR. Domi is better since being place at centre, Bertuzzi has really improved, Noah Gregor is lightning fast. We should get 5 more Noah Gregors for the bottom 6, Reaves is too old. 36. Can't believe we gave him a 3 year contract. He should be sent to the Marlies. Klingberg should only be used when we are pressing for a goal because he is very good offensively but don't expect him to block shots.
