  1. I was just at the game. Came from Saskatoon tonight. Beside the first minute of the second period it was a good game.

  2. Skinner stay in the god damn net !! Never start Bouchard in the defensive zone and Ekholm is a beast!

  3. Good game but I’m not sure the refs understand what’s a penalty? Going both ways the slashing that’s normally called isn’t! The only thing you ask is consistency in the calls! Boys needed a team that pushed back and forecheck like they do! Good game and good win I agree Paul’s doing a great job on the D.

  4. The refs were horrible tonight. Players get injured because of the ref's game management.
Skinner got bailed out by the forwards tonight. He needs to pick it up again in the next game.
Bouchard NEEDS to play defence as well.

  5. Watching that game was intense!! that 97.8 heater from Bouchard was brilliant!!! great and well fought win for the boys in copper and blue!!!

  6. Skinner needs to be better looked weak again 0.85%. I would have traded for fleury right there…. Talbot now the best goalie in the league

  7. It would be worth noting that along with the coaching changes, several Oiler's players took the high road in announcing their moral responsibility for their previous failures as a team (ie. partially absolving former coaches Woodcroft and Manson from their terrible start this season) and by doing so stated that it was up to them to take ownership of their predicament instead of blaming someone else for their woes. And, sure enough, through new guidance and a dogged determination, they have once again demonstrated their talent as one of the best teams in the NHL. Go Oilers!!

  8. Don't fix what's not broken. Play Pickard against Chicago Tues, and then in New Jersey on the front end of the back-to-back. Don't rush Campbell back unless he earns the recall with a series of good games and consistency.

Bouchard played well but left his man on a 2 v 2 leading to a goal against. He needs to learn to trust his D partner and just stick to his own guy like glue.
