Get it together Bednar nothing is good with this team right now. Always letting goals in on the last minute to play in periods, giving up 3 goal leads, nothing on the pp in fact you can almost bet on a good 2 minutes of nothing happening on the ice when they do get a PP lol. This team sucks rn 😂
They won a cup, then they got big contracts , then they stopped giving a crap.
Season of the cup run, everyone had a mission. Every possession was important. Passing crisp, fore-checking strong, but there was always that nonchalant play with leads that let alot of games slip in 3rd for other teams to rally or d-zone turnovers. Seems the team is too loose now and just trying to coast into the playoffs. Ends up with sloppy plays and players not prioritizing possession like the Toews puck handling end of 1st. Downside, frustration will lead to worst performance and other teams will take advantage, especially them playing their best with Colorado. Positive, Avalanche good enough to make another run. Negative, this nonchalance will lead to bad habits that will end the season early.
Game summary: Avs gift 4 goals to the Jets, Mack tries to get them back in it, and anyone not from the first line did not make an impact in the game.
The potential to make a deep run IS there.
