Matthew Tkachuk ended up in a heap with Linus Ullmark. How much help did Charlie McAvoy actually give Tkachuk in ending up where he did? Have your say!
As a Bruins fan, watching McAvoy's skate go in front of Tkachuk's skate and with Tkachuk's push-off of McAvoy, I think the idea here was anticipating where the puck was going and skating around the front end of the net. I don't really see anything ill-intent.
As a lifelong fan of the cats, I do not think that was tripping, McAvoy was pushing off and wasn't aware of how close Tkachuk was. Accidents happen, didn't have any effect on the game either and kind of ended up as a goofy moment altogether. Tkachuk didn't even find it questionable so I most certainly don't
That’s what Tkachuk does. He was tripped but it didn’t bother him that he ran the goalie. What bothers me more is that the Bruins don’t have anyone to make him think twice about doing it. The last few seasons the B’s have talent but their toughness is questionable.
This is one of those times where you can categorically deny your intent to rattle the goalie! Allegedly! " OOPS I tripped or he tripped me" " ( in his mind) I am gonna make my presence felt. ( which he often does) while chewing on his mouth guard afterwards with a little snicker of course ( Allegedly)
Planting his left foot to cut right behind the net, no trip but I wouldn’t exactly say that pecker head tried too hard to miss the goalie. That’s why hockey is the best sport in the world because at some point in the year payback will be dealt a swift blow. I hope.

Oh, Chucky. You do you…
It’s the definition of ‘accidentally on purpose’
Give him an excuse to be dirty and he will. McAvoy is a bit of an idiot here too.
I mean, can’t get much clearer of a trip there.
You can't even make this look unintentional . that was 💯 on purpose just a cheap shot to bad big ain't in his prime to ragdoll him.
so stupid, and could actually have injured the goalie. Players are way more susceptible to injury when they are facing the other way
The only tough call is whether Tkachuk was trying to simply collide with Ullmark or trying to take out his knees.
I hate Tkachuk…but McAvoy tripped him!!
Guy was TRIPPED but all the haters cant wrap their little minds around the fact it was not his fault. Too much hate = warped perception.
He was tripped not his fault imo
Dude was clearly tripped, look at their skates.

Charlie McAvoy, another dirty play.
McAvoy sticking his foot in front does not help and I wouldn't want to go head first in to a hip
He got tripped on McAvoy's foot, he didnt mean to do that

McAvoy has been watching Marchand
He redirected his fall into Ullmark. He's a pos and good at it.
