Fires got within about a kilometre of my house this summer. Was patrolling my yard for falling embers and ash while I watched them fight the fire 24 hours a day during all the wind and heat.
Absolutely it’s thanks to those tirelessly working firefighters that I’m sending this comment from my house right now.
They do so much every summer, and this year especially. Very glad to see them recognized.
