After last playing in the NHL during the 2021 Stanley Cup finals, this 7-time NHL All-Star left the league behind and quickly disappeared from the spotlight. Will few reports about him in the 2 years since his retirement and with little information known to the general public, it begs the question: whatever happened to Shea Weber? Watch to find out!

When Shea Weber was in junior he was injured and sitting with some black Aces at a Vancouver Giants game. I got a call from my sister who's fairly "glamorous" after the game because I knew hockey and said "Some old looking teenager named Shea Weber just asked me on a date. Is he good? Because I said no. He's kind of ugly." I screamed "Noooo! You'd be dating a future millionaire." Missed opportunity sis.
Nice a new Whatever Happened to!!
My favorite player of all time. He was the face of my Nashville predators.
One of the most memorable captain in recent habs years.
Shame injuries caught up to em, even greater shame he didn’t get his cup.
The answer: Mostly due to injuries during his career making it early retirement
Old and retired 😂
Please do emerson etem or Steve Mason or Ryan Dazingle
Contrary to what everyone says, including the owner of this channel, he’s not officially retired, and won’t until 2025
I am a Blackhawks fan but Weber was the best player in Predators history. I enjoyed watching him play except against the Blackhawks.
The fact that EK65 has two (soon to be three) Norris trophies, and Subban has one, while Weber has none is criminal.
💗
I love this series so much, please make these more often I can’t stop watching them
Who the fuck is wondering where Weber is?! Bro hasnt even officially retired
He fired up wikipedia again. Yay
Weber was my favourite non-Montreal Canadien for the longest time. I was so excited when he got traded to Montreal – though I really liked Suban too.
The pandemic stole many things from us. Quietly it stole one of the more poetic things.
Weber was set to play his 1000th game in Nashville. But we never got that
Strange accent for Hockey talk it took me by suprise, none "pots" goals in hockey
Weber holds a special place in my heart because he was the first game worn jersey card I ever pulled as a kid
I bought his blue Montreal reverse retro jersey because he is from Sicamous BC
What ever happened to Matthew Lombardi?
He gave Cole Caufield one of the better hockey nicknames before he left, he is a true hero.
There was a play TB scored on where Weber looked like an absolute traffic cone. I feel like that was the nail in the coffin. Such a shame. He was one of the best defenseman in the NHL for a while.
Favorite Canadian defense man favorite Nashville predator I hope Nashville retires his number soon
Can you do whatever happened to kari lehtonen 🙏
I liked his style of play before he came to us in MTL, and given everything the team had just endured with PK, Shea was the Leader that the team needed. Pacioretty was a great player, but with Weber you get a Man-mountain who can rip a shot from the point, look after the kids on the team, teach them, and lay the Boom. We definitely miss him at the blue line, but injury bug got him sadly
When I heard about the Weber/Subban trade I was so upset. Not because I didn't like Shea Weber, I just wanted for Shea Weber to play his entire career in Nashville as I viewed him as a franchise player for the predators.
Please do a special tribute video about Borje Salming so the younger viewers can learn about who he was and what he achieved both on ice and off afterwards until his final days before his passing ..
May God bless those brave, bold, bad ass dudes who went down to block a Shea Weber slap shot…..☠️☠️☠️
One of my favourite D man to ever play the game. Sad he never got that cup ring but had great career in the nhl ❤
from sicamous, bc ? i believe eh?
It sucks Weber never got a cup. Btw you should do David Clarkson.
Please do Federov
I have the honor of making ice for this gentleman along with another Kelowna Rocket Allum Josh George's. I drive Zamboni, they are staples here in Kelowna adding their experience and expertise to our young one's talents. So I see them for 6 months out of the year 🙂 Shea is doing well on this end as far as I can see. Great job on the Where did they go? He is a gentleman's gentleman.
Love your videos. Great work. I’m wondering where you love of hockey comes from because your accent doesn’t sound like it comes from a hockey crazed country like Canada. 🤨✌️
I woudnt say he was a bad captain but no personality at all, he was just there
get to the point-I don't need his whole biography
What ever happened to Ilya Kovalchuk
As a habs fans, I still remember when the trade happen. I was so happy to have a guy like Weber on our team!
I also propose to shoot about Blake Comeau, Tim Connolly and Clark MacArthur
It would also be interesting to know about Tyler Ennis and Mike Weber by the way
You could do better
Weber could have and should have won the Norris in 2010-2011; Lidstrom was no longer playing his best that year. Possibly a Stanley Cup in 2021 with Montreal if it were not for all the injuries
I don’t like tampa for that 😡😡😡😡
too bad he didn't get to play at least 1 game for the habs in the 2021-2022 season since one is better than none and just to say he played kinda like how price got to play 5 games
R.I.P. Shea.
