Last season, we saw Jake Walman hit the Griddy for the first time in the NHL. He has now done it a few times and last night, we got it again. Not just the Griddy, but ANOTHER 5-4 overtime winning Griddy as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Montreal Canadiens. The question is though, is this getting cringe? Thinking back to moments like Ovechkin with the hot stick, Tiger Williams riding the stick and then Pazzeta bringing that one back last year, the bow from Hughes we saw the other night or Bedard imitating Kane, I love myself a good celly. As a Habs fan… I hated it. However, I did enjoy Pezzeta's celly. Which means I'm just salty because my team lost last night. To which I say, good on Walman. He scored the game winner, he deserved it. Celebrate away baby.

im a wings fan i love walman that celly is super goofy looking. He pulls it out for the OT game winners so I am always happy to see it. Just wish we didnt have to go to OT in that game.
