I think this 2nd quarter of the season will determine the path forward for JBB. Are they a tweak or two away from being contenders again or do we need a retool. I do not see a rebuild on the horizon, the fact remains there is a young and healthy core still on team control long term, but we have to nail this transition from the older members of the core. As much as we all wanted to see Stammer and Hedman ride off in Bolts jerseys still contending, it may not be the reality.

Pulling Vasy tells me Cooper is fed up with the play. Personally I love it from him. He gives the team a ton of rope when it comes to stretches of bad play, but enough is enough. I’d start stapling other guys to the bench too. Ice time needs to be earned
