    Not the prettiest by any means, but good showing for the boys to grind this one out. Surprised to see 5v5 HDCF v. HDCA were about 13-12 (Preds’ favor) and xG at 5v5 at 2.71 v. 2.25 (Preds). Lot closer than what the eye test was telling me.

    That was a rough game. Glad they were able to tough it out and get the win. Igor looked good though i feel like normally he’d have had one of those first 2 goals.

    Man it feels good to have a coach who can make worthwhile adjustments mid game. That was almost certainly a loss last season. The compete level this year is fantastic though, love the ability to grind out hard wins

    Also great game from Brodz, hopefully he gets the hat.
    Trocheck and Fox also seem good.
    I’m fine if Shesty wants to start slow if he’s going to play like that in 2nd and 3rd.

    It’s actually pretty refreshing being able to watch a game when the opponents starts out ahead and think “yeah we could probably come back”.

    Last year there was a lot of talk about MSG offering their own streaming service. Now before every game I hear an offer to watch streaming on MSG for $10 per game. That’s $820 a year not counting playoffs.

    I have Comcast. I am not a fan. I was angry they let MSG go. But now I see that maybe it is all on MSG being pigs. Am I missing something?

    You know you’re on a historic run when you’ve won 5 of your last 6 games and that can be categorized as a slump lol

    Missed watching most of the game but down 2-0 and 3-1 and you still win on the road in a tough arena, holy schnikes.

    If this game snaps Igor back into rhythm, good luck the rest of the league

    Honestly have to shout out Cuylle for seamlessly fitting into this group. Every night he’s noticeable proving he deserves to be in the lineup

    Listen did we play as well as we’re capable of? Absolutely not. We did win though so I’ll take it. Defense was not the best but there were some fantastic moments in the mediocrity. Igor got back in his groove real quick. Onto the next!

    Loving this. Unlike previous years, being down 2-0 or 3-1 I’m no longer panicking. We actually have a coach that makes smart mid game adjustments that works. No matter the score we’re never out of it
