I like this signing. I’m not sold on Gilbert or Oesterle yet so hoping Pysyk can take one of those spots.

Strange to me. I know of him from before with previous teams but I hope the defensive kids still get chances and he isn’t someone clogging up the farm system
I see this as organizational depth.
Player on two way contract who is likely to clear waivers but can also play a bottom pairing role in the NHL if you’re desperate.
If the Flames were looking to upgrade their bottom pairing they would likely use their cap space to sign Ethan Bear.
I like everyone saying they’ve never heard of him. Former Edmonton Oil Kings captain, played for Canada in the world juniors, first round pick, over 500 NHL games.
Seems like a low risk option to add some AHL defence depth due to callups and injuries. No risk.

Like the signing, good depth player who can play both Defence and slot in to the bottom 6 wings as well when needed. Really like what brought in his limited time in Dallas.
