COMMENTATOR CAN’T STOP LAUGHING! Jockeys take different courses at Fontainebleau!

When you get two races for one! Chaos at Fontainebleau, as the jockeys split and take different courses over different fences.

The near side group were riding on the correct course, with the pair on the far side taking the incorrect route.

That certainly cracked commentator Ian Bartlett up! 🤣

  1. I could listen to the great Ian Bartlett commentate on 2 flies going up a wall — but this is magic!!!!

  2. It's not the jockeys fault for taking the wrong course. Why aren't there any markers or rails to doll off along the course???😮

The chase course at Fontainebleau has identical fences right? Therefore one should follow the direction so that they know that there's a line of fences to negotiate from a Double Barrier to the Oxer then an Open Ditch followed by the Bullfinch.

Thank God we don't have those type of obstacles on a British or Irish jumps track.

  3. There was a country French (known as a PMH) race 4-5 years ago where half the field decided going the wrong way was the right idea. Glad in trot this doesn't happen. TREATING IS NOT THE SAME AS DOPING, FREE BRIAND NOW!

  4. Surely the two on the far side must have realised they had cocked up, they should have pulled up to avoid any unnecessary injury to themselves or their horses.

  5. SO WHAT DID THE STEWARDS DECIDE??!? I wanna know how this came out! I'm guessing the adventurous two were disqualified…

  6. Not so funny if you have a horse, leading comfortably, and then goes the wrong course. Last year, maybe Pau France, chase/hurdle. He was a WINNER, 😢

  7. It's no wonder you have jockeys riding on different tracks. Look at the condition of the rails missing. Sad and dangerous. 😢😢😢

  8. for those exclaiming that it's 2 races for one, that actually has been done (on purpose, an official pari-mutuel race)…at Canterbury Park in Minnesota, they've had "Extreme Race Days," where they run all kinds of races you don't normally see, to include simultaneous races held on the turf & dirt tracks, run as one race…one has been posted here, do a search for "Canterbury Park Extreme Day Battle of the Surfaces 7-16-16"

  9. Ahaha. You can tell it was the group of 4 off course by the confused guy who saw them coming and had to skeedaddle out of their way. hahaha

  10. the four of u go that way and us two will go this way n we will screw with the announcer n then wee will meet u

  11. The race caller should have known the right track. I mean even the patrons know a steeple is higher than the Hurdle, and he had the race name right in front of him.

  12. Bartlett the worst commentator ever, makes it sound like every horse in the race has a chance at the furlong pole. Useless man can't spot a winner from 10 yards out!
    IMO
