Been hearing a lot of doom and gloom since the last few losses and it got me wondering how this seasons record stood against the 2011 cup final team.
22 games in and we’re currently 14-7-1. Comparatively, by the same time in 2011 our record was 12-7-3. And some of those losses were also against much worse teams on paper.
I know it’s a different team and a different year, but objectively speaking, even the year that we won the presidents trophy had a worse start.
I remember thinking “Ah crap, don’t give me hope” even then, and I guess that’s most fans out there. But as many I’ve seen here say, you just gotta take those losses as a learning experience and grow from them. I personally think we have what it takes to prove it wasn’t a hot start, we just need everyone to pull their weight like they haven’t been.

What is with people on the post game show pining for Kuz to be in the lineup last night? They are acting like he would have made some big difference in the game but he’s been really bad this year so I don’t get it. I doubt he makes a big difference.
