Hi, Josh, Jesse, and friends. The first thing I want to do is thank the great fans of this amazing channel. I got a lot of great advice on my post yesterday. It’s funny because it was meant for Josh, but a lot of fans commented on it. That shows how great the fans are on this site. Thanks for the hard work by Josh and Jesse and the fans. This is without a doubt my favorite site. What a great community. Now, it’s time to focus on the habs. No more distractions. 😂🏒🥅

trade montembault & go with primeau and allen. then at the trade deadline do the same with allen. habs need defencemen!! yes they have some hopefuls but they need some steady guys now who know how to clear the zone.
Maybe 3 decent goalies is a viable strategy?
Slafkovsky has no mobility and a LOW IQ in all zones so he can NEVER be an impact player because mentally he doesn't have it.Every team makes our team look bad in our own end because the Habs are THAT bad with no improvement over the last 2 years.
the goalies are not worth talking about they are a NON factor in this team getting better.if the Habs goalies could face only 20 shots a game they would be among the league leaders but instead around 35 shots a game against.
it is and has been the same problem forever a poor structure in the defensive end with the forwards covering nobody just floating around playing some kind of zone defense as if they were killing penalties lol.
Hey guys. I think you work great together. Can I make a suggestion? I’d love to see Jesse add a few specific data points into his contributions. Sometimes it feels a bit generic which leaves me wanting more. So when Jesse adds his perspective, add one data point (lots of good sources of information online so don’t reinvent the wheel) related to the point he’s about to make. It would add so much! Keep up the great work!
The only positive about the Kings game was Slafkovsky getting a huge open ice hit … on Caufield
Its a game to forget about and move on.
The goaler situation i believe is untenable, performing well isn’t rewarded, they can’t create momentum, mojo, good vibe, confidence as a team around a systematic rotation of goaltenders … soulless. Allen is definitely the one Montreal would want to trade for cap and age reasons, but the other two haven’t proven anything yet.

Defenceman blunders and a great shot beat Allen. Mesar will not make NHL. Beck maybe.
Montreal is terrible offensively. Doesn’t matter who they get they can’t even get a guy to put over 80 pts. Never win that way.
3 cheapo goalies makes a ton of sense. When you have a terrible contract on your team, you can have that flexibility to waive a player without any worry that another team will take him. They could easily send Gallagher down as well if he stops producing. Plus if you're limiting the goalie to 30 games or less, it becomes impossible for them to demand an above average salary.
Let’s just slow down on the Jake Allen slam. Jake Allen played by far the hardest game on the trip and the team in front of him did him no favours. Let’s review who the last team he played against…..oh yeah, it was the Bruins who happened to be the top team in the league at the time and again the team in front of him stunk!!! Just my take 😊

It must just burn HUGO to see Tyler Toffoli leading the entire Flames team in scoring last year, and already this year sitting so far ahead of any Habs player at 11 goals for Jersey. Or at least, it *should*. After a game where we had no offense, no nothing, just look completely like a second-rate AHL team. Carry on about Mesar all you like…I'd have kept Toffoli.
Mesar : Gally : Newhook : RHP : Suzi ; Cole are painfully undersized while the trend is to have big robust forwards ….These guys can not compete and spend a lot of each shift on their buts …That is half of the forward line up …LA schooled the Habs today with a team above the midget level …..

What I read about Mesar regarding last season is there was no talent on the team for him to work with and that it was a toxic environment. This year they changed the entire coaching staff was changed and a massive injection of talent. The Rangers have the top 3 scorers in the OHL. Translation, renewed hope that Mesar will come good as a 1st round selection.
