Funny that McDavid is already old news. Dude got 153 pts last year, and this year with a “bad start” he has 1pts per game.

Seems like Fantilli developed physically pretty early (didn’t he have a full beard at like 16?) and he more or less looks like an NHL veteran already even though he just turned 19.

The future of hockey likely doesn’t have me as a fan anymore. Miss the big body checks, actual fighting, not babies fighting after their millionaire buddy got hit a little too hard. Hard to keep watching the nhl with all the soft calls by the refs and players embellishing everything. Used to be lots of farm boys playing hockey now it’s all a pile of rich kids playing against each other. Plus the fact it’s near impossible to watch the nhl for the average fan is going to kill the game, unless more people begin using vpns. Just not as enjoyable in my eyes.

Fantilli will hopefully lead us to the promised land. Columbus desperately needs a new Rick Nash, and he has the potential to be even more. Now we just need to fix the mess around him so he continues to want to be here.
