Merzlikins has such a unique stance. Gloves not super out in front like most are, and more to his side. While somehow still appearing aggressive since legs are wider than shoulder width. His glove is more or less facing the boards instead of the puck yet it still works for him. Proof that a lot of the goaltending stance technicalities are just good guidelines and they aren't a necessity to get to the show.
