It’s been so dry, having to wait a week for the Sweden games, only to have to wait another 5 days for the next game, you know for a fact we’re going to get like 15 back to backs straight in like March/April cause of this
Can’t wait to play 30 games in 30 days to end the season.

A Friday night game followed by a Sunday game at 8 fucking a.m. then wait five more days for a 2pm game followed by a regular Saturday game.
Seems like the schedule was created by a squirrel crossing the road

Can’t be many times in their history they’ve played Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM EST in back to back weeks.

I hate the leafs with every ounce of my being (I’m from Edmonton) but matthews and Tavares having been killing it for me in fantasy so I look forward to every leafs game now and it feels wrong.
Still gonna watch though, lol.

NHL scheduling is a joke. I get this week is weird because of American Thanksgiving, and the Sweden trip throws off our schedule. But the league as a whole is fucking backwards. Why is there 3 nights a week where 20 teams are on the ice and multiple nights per week where there’s 6 or fewer? God forbid the league has 5 games per night so people could follow more than one team and watch hockey every night they choose.
