    Well that fucking sucks. Does anyone know if we put him on LTIR, does that mean only $6M of cap won’t accrue? Or the whole $17M or so won’t accrue?

    Guy cannot catch a break. Such a shame cause he’s easily one of the best offensive weapons on the team. Iron man Phil Kessel is still available and while I wouldn’t expect him to produce quite like Hall he would be a fun veteran to have in the locker room

    Ok putting him on ltw means more cap room , and we could either get more bad contracts or be a 3rd team filler and get some more return . Also this means or team for worse which stinks but also may mean we have a better chance for a higher pick in the rebuild

    This team completely lacks the depth to handle a loss like this. Hall is a second line player at this point in his career, but he does everything well at the level.

    W/O Hall for ROtS this team is easily destined for bottom of standings again and another top 1-3 pick.

    Kyle should look to bring in some underperforming talent on a bad contract/cap crunched team. As someone mentioned, pounce on the Kane thing. Example: NYR want another go with Kane? Kakko to Chicago for a 5th. Kakko looks done in New York and needs a change of scenery with less pressure. That move opens up cap space to sign Kane.
