Crosby’s Columbus dominance gives Penguins 5th straight win!



It’s another Victory Pod on Wednesday as Hunter and Pat recap the Penguins’ 5-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. They dive into how this was a vintage Sidney Crosby performance and he wasn’t letting them lose this game. They marvel at how he continues to do this despite being in his late 30s and how he was all over the ice. They then get into the play of Erik Karlsson and just how good he’s been in this game and this season.     The third line is night and day from the beginning of the season. It's funny how bad Jansen Harkins was screwing everything up, it just shows how one player can hold everyone back. Still not sure what Dubas saw in Harkins, that experiment was a mistake lol.

    ek and kris play same mintues but letang is trying play like defence type guy not always offence and its working out perfect

    Karlssons calmness on the point is something to be amazed with.

    Letang as the penalty kill captain, frankly, is something to behold.

    Malkin is a stud. (Top 100? How about top 20 of all time?)

    3rd line is on the doorstep of something big. Eller, OC and Zohorna are balling out.

    4th line doing their job.

    This team, 100%, has the substance of a Stanley cup contender. We will know more after these stretch of four upcoming games: NJD, NYC, VEG and hurricanes

    Hunter saying about future fans asking what it was like watching sidney crosby play. It's just like telling his generation what it was like watching lemieux and jagr play. Sid is an incredible player but Mario was on another level compared to sid in my opinion. Mario was a 6 foot 4 230lb man who was probably faster skater then sid has ever been. If it wasnt for all the injuries Mario went through, it would be him not gretzky as the best to ever play. Just my opinion
