Things have continued to get even worse for the Edmonton Oilers. We’ll talk about tonight’s further low for the Edmonton Oilers and their newest loss against the Carolina hurricanes.
You guys say you feel bad for Connor and Leon, but they’re just as accountable as the rest of the team, arguably more. They haven’t been playing good this season
I personally thought this was never a goaltending issue but rather a defensive issue. As a goalie myself I thought Cambell was better than Skinner for a multitude of reasons. But hey what do I know, drop Cambell down, get rid of the coach, and the problem still persists…
That's right!! JQuick(37) pitched a high stylin' profilin' "0" w.out a damn catch glove as thy PENS only goal was called off via offsides, OILERS had a solid 5 yrs to get it fixed/ Right to b a 🏆 finals contender, JCambell if I remember had a long injury break(Leafs'22) & rarely played his (physical) best, its showing in AHL rn. Skinner may feel too much psych. pressure etc.💲💲💲💲 LEON/ McDavie's gave it 💯 & were in Oct. But sometimes after all that intense play/ hard work something mysteriously gives & those 2 elites can't b the xfactor in winning. Other guys just aren't playing to win every moment like u must in hockey unlike winning every down in 🏈. They should b separately "somehow" dealt to different playoff ctendersby deadline I can't see things changing at all. It's frankly sad, pathetic & embarrassing look. But That's All I know & idk much Go 🇺🇸NYR 🗽
Holland needs to get his shit together. Edmonton needs a goalie. It's dire. He has assets. He should have made a trade a month ago. What is he doing?? Skinner is psychologically f'd right now. Pickard CANNOT be your #1. The Wings and Habs are carrying 3 goalies. What is he doing?
I think Keith was a bigger key to their defense 2 years ago then people thought. Their entire blueline seem to play way more responsible with the leadership of Keith back their
"McDavid loses the puck behind the net" (at 1:58 in this video). That looked like a trip to me and it should have been a penalty to Carolina instead of a subsequent goal for Carolina. And the ref was looking right at the trip.
As much as I hate the Oilers and enjoy their current downfall… Its amusing to me seeing them trying to solve horrible front-net presence with a coach change and a new goalie. Woodcroft was an excellent coach. Campbell is a decent goalie. The players in the Oilers defensive, and offensive cores, DONT WANNA PLAY THE RIGHT WAY. They just dont do it. It is almost as if everyone in the league, fans included, can see what the real issue for the Oilers is, but the team upper management remains completely oblivious to it.
I’m a Detroit fan but I’d say if I had to pick a favorite in the west to cheer for, it’s always been the Oilers. Seeing this happen really sucks. Hopefully they get their season turned around because I think we all want them to make the playoffs (unless your team is a fringe playoff/ wildcard contender in the west)
I don’t think Spector got ripped for asking the question, I didn’t have a problem with the question. Mc David’s response to him was “you love asking this question”. Maybe as a reporter of 35 years worth of experience he would have come up with some more creative questions for the players and not recycling the same ones over and over again.
The goalie coach hasn’t been fired because he’s married into the Katz family. Goalies basically come here to die and THE COACH IS UNTOUCHABLE! Pathetic. Fire Holland. Fire Schwartz
For perspective, my Winnipeg Jets, a team many analysts called to miss the playoffs this year, has the same points gap to best in the west as the Oilers, a team many Canadian analysts were putting as their cup favorites, is from a wildcard spot. Nothing's out of reach yet, but we've seen too much of this to have any faith in this team. When they won 3 in a row I thought maybe they'd turn it around, but by now they're gonna have to get the L10 to something like 7-2-1 before I will believe they've turned anything around
This is so funny -Calgary Flames fan Everyone knew with Flames best players leaving we would be bad but no one expected our arch enemy Oilers to be THIS bad. Really fuckin hilarious

I've never seen an NBA coach do this:

fact check: players that entered the league before 2020 do NOT have to wear helmets in warmups. therefore Darnell doesnt have to wear one

come to the Pens!
I have been a fan of the oilers and the devils forever. This season just wasn’t it like, I’m dying rn
The Oilers got the Chiarelli, Holland combo. "Finish Him"…"Fatality"

love the turmoil in Edmonton
great game as a canes fan lol

Lol the Canucks managed to secure a better backup goalie than Edmonton have starters.
Guessing game: who can guess which 2 players wont be resigning when their contracts are up?
You DO NOT have to wear helmets during warm ups, hard to take the rest if what u seriously when u don't even know that
why doesnt mike smith comeback for a last year

Bruins and Rangers have backup goalies that can be easily main goalie in 20 other teams, its almost unfair 😅 almost 😊
Vegas really crushed Edmonton and then Vancouver kicked them while they were down in the preseason.
Time for Ken Holland to retire early and bring in Messier as GM.

dont worry, the pacific division is the worst division….
Draisaitl and McDavid deserve better. And it's not just the goaltending that's foul.

Karma for their fans being the most obnoxious in the NHL.
