Ahhh the days when life was fun. Mid 2000s after the lockout was a good time for hockey. Things were great and original back then. None of the stupid social media/Ultra Super Hyper PC crap we have today. I miss the good ole days, wish I had a time machine to take me back.
Avery did nothing here so why is he in the penalty box for this? And two, how could Norstrom have been the third man in the fight if only one person was fighting before that? For that matter, if you really want someone to engage Avery in a fight, sending someone 7 inches taller and 35 pounds heavier is not the way to do it, Neil would have been a better fit, Mike Fisher, Chris Kelly, maybe Redden. This should not be taken in any way, shape or form as an approval for anything that Avery has done in his life, other than to say that he was justified in not fighting McGrattan
Impartial view.. Avery was watching the play, McGrattan jumped him. Yes Avery knew he had to go but McG had the immediate advantage. If u want to go, go face to face

These were great days as an Ottawa fan. Every game night was interesting. Hoping to get back to this sometime in the near future.
